History: being one of the wines with the Valtellina Superiore Docg denomination, it has also been produced for many years, it is a “ classic” for Cantina Nera. The Nebbiolo "Chiavennasca" grapes that we use for this wine are harvested in the "Inferno" area, corresponding to the municipalities of Poggiridenti and Tresivio. We are in the narrowest area of the appellation, just over 50 hectares where the slopes of the Valtellina vineyard are close to 75%, therefore the exposure of the dry-stone walls to the sun obviously has the greatest effect, creating truly "infernal" temperatures, especially during the summer season.

Why buy it: because it is a wine of character, uncompromising, vertical, "earthy", but at the same time fine, elegant and complex. Particularly suitable to accompany structured first courses, red meats, roasts, braised meats and aged cheeses. Tasting it you will be able to better understand the reason for its particular name …..
