Special features: "Alisio", the invented name that we wanted to use for this wine, is the epithet of the Greek god of wine. This Sassella is part of the classic line called "Vini degli Dei".... one of the divine "nectars" produced on the steep terraces of Valtellina.

Special features: It is therefore a "Riserva" , like all our wines with this particular mention, is produced exclusively in the best years, that is to say when the quality of the grapes and the pre-harvest climatic conditions are of an exceptional level. As a "Riserva" it is offered in limited quantities and, by provision of the production specification, it must be aged for at least 36 months before being marketed.

Special features: the Nebbiolo “Chiavennasca” grapes come from the “Inferno” area of Valtellina Superiore Docg. The name says it all…. we are in the smallest area of the denomination, just over 50 hectares where the slopes of the Valtellina vineyard are close to 75%, therefore the exposure of the dry-stone walls to the sun obviously has a greater effect, creating truly "infernal" temperatures, in particular during the summer season.

Special features: “Efèsto”, a fantasy name that we wanted to use for this wine, is the God of fire and this mythological figure goes well with the characteristics of the area from which the wine comes. Special features: It is produced exclusively with grapes of the Nebbiolo "Chiavennasca" variety, trained according to the Guyot system modified with the Valtellinese arch system. These grapes are vinified after drying for about 3 months in a "fruit cellar" (dry and well-ventilated room) after being harvested by Cantina Nera exclusively by hand, within the production areas of Valtellina Docg and Doc wines; the healthiest and ripest bunches are selected, in order to obtain a very high quality wine.

Special features: “Messere”, or “Mesèr, is the name that Caven Vini wanted to choose for its Sforzato di Valtellina Docg. This name recalls the excellence, nobility and dedication of particular men. In the Valtellinese dialect, it indicated important and authoritative personalities, owners of the best land and vineyards in Valtellina, once called "Padroni". Part of these vineyards are currently owned by Caven Vini.

Special features: On the label there is a representation of the Tower "de li beli miri", symbol of Teglio. This tower is what remains of the medieval castle, the Castrum Tiili, built on the Roman ruins of a previous foundation. Surrounded by greenery and situated on a hill, it constitutes a splendid panoramic point over the middle valley. The popular name above derives, in fact, from the spectacular view that can be enjoyed from the summit terrace, where the gaze can range over a stretch of about 60 kilometres.
