Special features: It is a sweet passito with a very defined personality, ideal for stimulating all the senses, produced by the natural over-ripening of the same Nebbiolo "Chiavennasca" grapes from which obtains the Sforzato di Valtellina Docg. The grapes are generally left to dry in the fruit cellar until the month of April following the harvest, then pressed revealing the "singular" characteristics of an extraordinary passito.

Special features: the Nebbiolo “Chiavennasca” grapes used by Caven Vini to produce this wine come from the “Sassella” area of Valtellina Superiore Docg. We are at the gates of Sondrio, in the municipalities of Castione Andevenno and the provincial capital itself, as well as some small "fractions" located at an altitude ranging between 400 and 500 meters above sea level. The vineyards of this area benefit more, compared to those of the other areas, from the positive influence of the "breva", the typical wind coming from Lake Como, dry and temperate, which acts as a "thermoregulator" not only for the Sassella but also for the rest of the vineyards.

Special features: the "coppelle" are closely linked to Caven, the name of our company and of the hamlet of the town of Teglio, where they were found - in the vineyards owned by Caven Wines - several such etchings. However, this Valtellina Superiore Docg Sassella "sinks" its roots in the past, as it is obtained from vines over 60 years old and partly from recently planted vineyards, coming from a clonal selection of Nebbiolo "Chiavennasca" carried out by the Fojanini Foundation.

Special features: The cherry color of the wine and its scent are clear references to cherries, hence the name of this wine, "Cerasum". Even the pale pink color of the label leads back to the fruit, as does the Camunian symbol depicted in the center of the pictogram, the 2 "spectacle pendants" which, according to the Camunian civilization (important traces of which have been found in Caven, just below the town of Teglio), symbolize ornaments or jewels, recalling cherry bunches.

Special features: On the label there is a representation of the Tower "de li beli miri", symbol of Teglio. This tower is what remains of the medieval castle, the Castrum Tiili, built on the Roman ruins of a previous foundation. Surrounded by greenery and situated on a hill, it constitutes a splendid panoramic point over the middle valley. The popular name above derives, in fact, from the spectacular view that can be enjoyed from the summit terrace, where the gaze can range over a stretch of about 60 kilometres.

Special features: “Satiro” is the invented name that we wanted to use for this wine; refers to a male mythological figure from the Greco-Roman world. Satyr lives in the woods and mountains; it is a deity who personifies fertility and the vital force of nature, connected with the Dionysian cult. In Roman mythology it corresponds to the faun.

Special features: It is a wine obtained through the unusual white vinification of Nebbiolo and Rossola (another native vine of Valtellina), subsequently blended with Chardonnay and Incrocio Manzoni. These last two vines are cultivated by us in the municipality of Teglio at about 500 meters above sea level.
